PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination control system and a control unit used for the same, capable of controlling an illuminating fixture and monitoring an operation situation without a relay control terminal unit having a communication function separately from the illuminating fixture.SOLUTION: An illumination control system comprises: an illuminating fixture 1 having a communication function; and a control unit 10 having a function of transmitting and receiving data to and from the illuminating fixture 1. The control unit 10 transmits to the illuminating fixture 1 control data for controlling a lighting state of the illuminating fixture 1. The illuminating fixture 1 controls the lighting state depending on the received control data. In addition, the illuminating fixture 1 has a failure detection function of detecting failures of the own machine, and when detecting the failures of the own machine, transmits a failure state to the control unit 10. |
