<p>Disclosed is a wireless power transmission system (1) wherein active electrodes (13, 23) are electric-field coupled to each other, passive electrodes (14, 24) are electric-field coupled to each other, and power is transmitted from a power transmission apparatus (101) to a power reception apparatus (201). The power transmission apparatus (101) has a parallel resonant circuit (RC1) that includes a capacitor (C1) and a secondary coil (n12) of a booster transformer. The power reception apparatus (201) has: a series resonant circuit (RC2) that includes a capacitor (C2), and an inductance component (Lp) and a capacitance component (Cp), said components being included in a piezoelectric transformer (22); and a parallel resonant circuit (RC3) that includes a capacitor (C3) and an inductor (L1). Resonant frequencies of respective parallel resonant circuit (RC1), series resonant circuit (RC2), and parallel resonant circuit (RC3) are equal to each other, and a frequency of a high-frequency high voltage generated by a voltage generating circuit of the power transmission apparatus (101) is set at such resonant frequency.</p> |
