<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing which uses inexpensive alumina as a formation material of rolling elements and is reinforced to be used for applications never before possible due to insufficient strength.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing 1 includes multiple rolling elements 3 which are disposed between a first member 1, which is an outer race, and a second member 2, which is an inner race, so as to roll. The rolling elements are formed by a fiber-reinforced alumina ceramic containing alumina and alumina fiber.</p> |
