<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink filling device and an ink filling method capable of obtaining an optimal filling state of ink of an ink tank by setting a filling condition of the ink considering prevention of leakage of the ink when opening an ink supply port.SOLUTION: In an inside of an ink tank 10, a first accommodation chamber 30 for accommodating an absorber 30 of ink and a second accommodation chamber 36 that forms a closed space substantially except a communication part 52 for communicating with the first accommodation chamber 30 are formed. Through an atmosphere communication port 12, the inside of the ink tank 10 is decompressed to target pressure, and then through an ink supply port 14A, the ink of a target filling amount associated with the target pressure is filled inside the ink tank 10.</p> |
