Disclosed is a method of testing a sample from a human, comprising: measuring a first signal derived from binding of a first antibody fraction of the sample to a bacterial lipopolysacccharide; and measuring a second signal derived from binding of a second antibody fraction of the sample to one or more human antigen, selected from at least one of (a) one or more gut-related antigen and (b) one or more blood brain barrier-related antigen, wherein the measurement of the first signal is related to the presence of antibody to the bacterial lipopolysaccharide in the human; and the measurement of the second signal is related to, for the one or more gut-related antigen, gut permeability in the human; and the measurement of the second signal is related to, the one or more blood brain barrier related antigen, blood brain barrier permeability in the human.
|
