PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmentally friendly magnesium air battery which can provide a solution for the problem of a conventional magnesium air battery in danger of releasing harmful heavy metals such as copper and manganese, and light metal into an environment and consequently, affecting the environment, and which enables the achievement of a higher effect by an amount of used magnesium less than that used in a conventional magnesium air battery by increasing its efficiency, namely reducing the amount of used material and therefore.SOLUTION: A battery comprises: a positive electrode including carbon fiber thereby increasing the efficiency of oxygen absorption and thus, decreasing material, which leads to the downsizing thereof; and conductor lines including no harmful metal, provided that iron, titanium and silica are all that are used as metals other than a magnesium alloy. Thus, a battery which is safe for an environment and life in use and even when being discarded is provided. Further, the battery comprises an electrolyte including a non-metal element, an alkali metal and iron without harmful metals nor halogens. Therefore, the battery safe for an environment and life is provided. |
