PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guiding catheter capable of performing safe and appropriate ablation by improving force of engagement with a blood vessel.SOLUTION: A guiding catheter 10 for guiding an ablation catheter 100 that is inserted into a renal artery RA and executes ablation of a renal sympathetic nerve RN from the inside of the renal artery RA includes: an inner tube 20 that includes a lumen 21 for guiding the ablation catheter 100; an outer tube 40 that stores the inner tube 20 inside and is axially movable relative to the inner tube 20; and an expansion part 50 that is provided with an inner tube fixation part 52 to be fixed to the inner tube 20 and an outer tube fixation part 53 to be fixed to the outer tube 40 at a position axially different from that of the inner fixation part 52, and is deformable so as to project outside in a radial direction of the inner tube 20 by relatively moving the inner tube 20 and the outer tube 40 and bringing the outer tube fixation part 53 and the inner tube fixation part 52 close to each other. |
