PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain an image high in ANSI contrast when compared with conventional images.SOLUTION: Projection image light L0, which is substantially orthogonally incident upon a minute area s of a hologram recording medium of a semispherical type hologram screen 11, from an image projection device 12 is configured to be diffused as first diffusion light L1 by a diffusion characteristic recorded in the hologram recording medium of the semispherical type hologram screen 11, and without re-entering other screen locations, observers 31, 32 and 33 at a different location is configured to be irradiated with the first diffusion light L1, respectively. The diffusion characteristic is in such way that the first diffusion light L1 from the minute area s is diffused only within an observation range (within a stereoscopic angle ω) indicated by a dot-line 30, while the first diffusion light L1 is not diffused in other direction. |
