PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inspection equipment capable of accurately estimating the weight of a content even if a method cannot be employed in which the weight of a packaging material is simply subtracted from the weight of merchandise to obtain the weight of the content.SOLUTION: In X-ray inspection equipment 10, a region discrimination section 21b discriminates a region Rn of a content N, and obtains an area thereof. A weight estimation section 21c estimates the total weight of the content N and a packaging material F from the region Rn of the content N, calculates the weight gfc of the packaging material of the region Rn of the content N based on weight gs per unit area of the packaging material F and the area of the content N, and subtracts the weight of the packaging material from the total weight, so as to calculate the weight of the content. |
