PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant supply system which stably maintains a characteristic of lubricant and enables a diesel engine widely used for a variety of purposes, such as a power engine to propel a vessel and a power generation engine to generate power, to be stably driven for a long period of time.SOLUTION: A lubricant supply system 1 of a diesel engine 2 comprises: a storage tank 3 which stores lubricant to cyclically supply the same to an inside of the engine; viscosity measuring means 5a or acid/base number measuring means 5b which measures viscosity or an acid/base number of the lubricant circulated between the storage tank and the inside of the engine; and one or more type of supplementary lubricant 8 which has the viscosity or the acid/base number relatively different from the same of the circulated lubricant. The lubricant supply system supplies a predetermined amount of the supplementary lubricant to the storage tank or the inside of the engine depending on the viscosity or the acid/base number measured by the viscosity measuring means or the acid/base number measuring means.
