<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content selection device and a content selection method that calculate suitable content cycles by lines regardless of surveys and observation data and select contents. <P>SOLUTION: The content selection device includes a train operation database 24; a content database 35 which stores contents and content reproduction times; a data reception part 21 which acquires ride data that automatic ticket gates acquire; a route search part 25 which calculates a ride route and a ride time from a getting-on station to a getting-off station based upon ride data and train operation information for each piece of information of the same ride section zone and the same getting-off time; an analysis part 32 which uses the ride route, ride time, and ride data to obtain a second ride time, excluding a transfer time obtained with the ride route, and user number information corresponding to the ride time; and a content selection part 36 which selects a content corresponding to the second ride time and the user number information corresponding to the ride time based upon a reproduction time of the content. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
