摘要 Disclosed are a determination device of freezing of gait (FOG) using a root mean square (RMS) analysis and a determination method of FOG using the same. The determination device of the FOG using the RMS analysis comprises: a triaxial acceleration sensor (110) which outputs a triaxial acceleration signal according to the movement of a pedestrian; an RMS calculation unit (120) which extracts an acceleration signal of each axis from the triaxial acceleration signal and calculates an RMS value of the acceleration signal of each axis within a predetermined time section; a determination unit (130) which compares the RMS value of the acceleration signal of each axis calculated in the RMS calculation unit (120) with predetermined minimum and maximum threshold RMS values and determines a gait state of the pedestrian according to a comparison result value and outputs a signal according to the gait state; a storage unit (150) which stores the minimum and maximum threshold RMS values of the acceleration signal of each axis and stores the comparison result value of the determination unit (130); and a communications module (140) which transmits a determination signal according to the comparison result value to the outside through a wireless interface. The determination unit (130) determines the stable state, normal gait state, and FOG state of the pedestrian according to the comparison result value.
