The present invention relates to a motor and an inverter cooling structure of scroll type compressor to effectively cool down not only a motor but also an inverter. The present invention comprises: a case; a fixed scroll and a circling scroll installed in the case; a motor installed inside the case; an inverter to supply an AC power source; and an eccentric axis rotated by the motor. The end of the case has an opening, which has a cutoff plate. The side of the cutoff plate facing the inside of the case has a ring-shaped projecting first supporting boss to support the end of the eccentric axis in a rotatable position. The other side of the cutoff plate facing the outside of the case has the inverter. The side of the case close to the motor has a coolant inlet for the external refrigerant gas to flow in, and a penetrated refrigerant gas guiding pipe to guide the refrigerant gas is formed on the side of the first supporting boss to induce the gas inside.
