PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve continuous and highly accurate light control with a low-cost LED lighting device by digital control.SOLUTION: The LED lighting device includes: a power conversion circuit for converting a DC power voltage to feed to an LED load; and a control device for controlling the output of the power conversion circuit by first and second control means. An operation amount of the first control means is a discretely variable drive frequency of the power conversion circuit. The first control means in the control device sets the drive frequency to have the output greater than a rating value. The output is controlled to have a target value by varying the operation amount of the second control means in the state of a fixed drive frequency. |
