PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which a conductive polymer is used for a positive electrode, and a carbonaceous material is used for a negative electrode, and which enables the efficient suppression of the worsening of a battery performance by stabilizing a capacity-keeping rate; and a method for manufacturing such a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery.SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; a separator disposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and an electrolyte having ion conductivity and including a support electrolyte. The positive electrode includes a conductive polymer. The negative electrode includes a carbonaceous material which ions can go into and go away from. The support electrolyte of the electrolyte includes a lithium salt, having an ion radius of an anion component of 26 pm or larger.
