<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple apparatus and method for feeding molten metal, which can spend optional time on vacuum suction in a vacuum die casting without any trouble. <P>SOLUTION: The method for feeding the molten metal sequentially includes: immersing a ladle 5 having an openable and closable inlet-and-outlet 8 for molten metal, the inlet-and-outlet being provided under the ladle, in a molten metal within a molten metal-holding furnace, so that the molten metal is stored in the ladle 5; connecting the inlet-and-outlet 8 to the molten metal supply opening of an injection sleeve 3; decompressing the inside of the ladle 5 and the injection sleeve 3; and opening the inlet-and-outlet 8 to supply the molten metal existing in the ladle 5 to the inside of the injection sleeve 3. The ladle 5 and the injection sleeve 3 may be decompressed so that the decompression degree of the injection sleeve 3 is higher than that of the ladle 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
