A reclosable flexible film package can comprise a reclosable package comprising a first substrate forming a plurality of panels (64,66) having peripheral edges (26,28) sealed to form an interior cavity for receiving items. The flap (22) defines an opening to the interior cavity when the flap is separated at the line of weakness. The second substrate extends uninterrupted from one peripheral edge (26) of the reclosable package to an opposite peripheral edge (26) of the reclosable package.
