PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge dewatering method that enables an efficient dewatering treatment by adding a flocculant to the organic sludge of high salt concentration generated in the treatment of sewage, human waste and industrial wastewater. ! SOLUTION: The efficient dewatering treatment is achieved by adding a flocculation treatment agent comprising a water-in-oil type emulsion of cationic or amphoteric aqueous polymer obtained by emulsion polymerization such that the dispersed phase is a particular monomer mixture aqueous solution and the continuous phase is an organic liquid achieved by adding surfactant to the organic liquid immiscible in water, or comprising two of water-in-oil type emulsion, to an organic sludge of high salt concentration whose conductivity is 100 mS/m or more and whose M alkalinity is 400 mgCaCO3/L or more. !
