<p>The present invention refers to a method for producing structural modifications in pharmaceutical polymorphs, where microwave energy is used for the study, manipulation and characterization of polymorphism. The main characteristic of the invention is based on a support with values in its dielectric characteristics of 4.8 +- 0.8 in its dielectric constant and 0.0141 +- 0.003 in its dielectric lose factor, and a detailed quantitative analysis of the phenomenon, where the support complying with these characteristics performs the dehydration and transformation process of the amorphous phase in the substance to be evaluated. The process may originate structural changes that modify the spatial distribution, therefore providing changes in its physicochemical properties, which are originated by this new obtention path in specific conditions. A methodology of this type is quite appreciated in the pharmaceutical patent world, since the paths for obtaining crystalline forms provide industries w ith an increase domain and preservation over their patents. Economic and business advantages are value virtues that turn this methodology into an innovative and profitable process.</p> |
