A deterioration determining device of a battery for an electric vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises; a charge unit which charges a battery included in an electric vehicle with a constant current mode until the constant voltage, and charges the battery with the constant voltage mode if the voltage of the battery reaches the constant voltage; a measuring unit which measures a constant voltage mode maintaining time from the charge unit; and a deterioration calculating unit which calculates the deterioration of the battery by using the relation between the constant voltage mode maintaining time measured in the measuring unit and the deterioration of the battery. According to the deterioration determining device of a battery for an electric vehicle by an embodiment of the present invention, the deterioration of the battery can be determined quantitatively by using the constant voltage charge maintaining time when the battery is rapidly charged. |
