PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface light-emitting module which can make an entire surface including a front face and side faces equally emit light with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A surface light-emitting module 1 comprises a plurality of LED light sources 2, and a light guide plate 3 for guiding light from the LED light sources 2, and planarly emits light. The light guide plate 3 has a back face 3a, a planar front face 3b, side faces 3c for connecting the back face 3a and the front face 3b at an external periphery, and an accommodation recess 4 for accommodating the LED light sources 2 which are arranged at the back face 3a. The LED light sources 2 are accommodated in the accommodation recess 4 with light emitting faces of the LED light sources 2 directed toward a center part A of the light guide plate 3. The light guide plate 3 guides light from one LED light source 2 to the front face 3b while reflecting light from the one LED light source 2 by the back face 3a and the front face 3b, and guides the light to an external peripheral part B located at a rear of another LED light source 2 located at an opposite side with the center part A interposed therebetween. The light from the LED light sources 2 is guided by the light guide plate 3, emitted from the front face 3b, and also emitted from the side faces 3c of the light guide plate 3 at the external peripheral part B. |
