Antimicrobial communication board that is provided with an enamel coat on the writing side of the communication board, on which an antimicrobial coating is applied that consists of a composition of nanoparticles of an antimicrobial metal or a metal oxide, that is applied onto the surface in one or two layers by sol-gel coating, or by means of chemical vapour deposition under atmospheric pressure.
