The present invention relates to a system and a method for converting channels in a WPAN network according to radio environment changes. The present invention can convert the channels in the WPAN network when the communication quality is degraded due to the radio environment changes. According to the present invention, the WPAN network channel conversion system includes: slaves exchanging data; a master which is connected to the slaves and obtains the communication status information regarding the slaves, selects one of the slaves for an adjacent channel search operation according to the communication status information regarding the slaves, and adjusts the communication channel according to the adjacent channel scan result from the adjacent channel search slave.
