The invention relates to a method for monitoring, predicting, and reducing the acoustic level of a plurality of sources (14) located in a predetermined space including at least one noise-transmitting source, in particular a vessel, in an aquatic environment. The method comprises a step of modelling the acoustic propagation of said source in real time, said step consisting of: obtaining, from a database, data (114) relating to the momentary position of the noise-transmitting source; reading data (116a) relating to the noise level radiated by said source; reading data (116b, 116c) relating to one or more parameters that characterize at least one interface defining the aquatic environment that corresponds to the predetermined space; calculating the speed of sound in water using oceanographic data (118) for the predetermined space; calculating the acoustic energy level radiated from the position of the noise-transmitting source (14) at every point in said space and in real time, using data previously received, read, and calculated.
|
