Provided is a method for correcting an image of a display panel, which comprises the steps of: measuring a brightness and color of a plurality of full pattern image having a full gray scale; measuring a brightness and color of a multi-pattern image having a plurality of a multi-gray scale; generating a first correction value to move a position of respective multi-gray scales to a center of the multi-pattern image within the multi-pattern image; and correcting a brightness and color of the display panel based on the brightness and color of the full pattern image, the brightness and color of the multi-pattern image, and the first correction value.
