<p>Provided are an apparatus and a method to enable uniform quality control by automatically detecting burrs which can occur in an edge in an injection molding process to manufacture cases of mobile phones and tablet PCs by an optical method not relying on a visual inspection. According to the present invention, the apparatus for detecting burrs comprises: a first camera and a second camera for extracting images of the contour of a processed article; an X-shaft transporting part which adjusts a space on an X-shaft between the first camera and the second camera to a position of the contour of the article; a Y-shaft transporting part which loads the article and linearly transports the article on a Y-shaft in the plus or minus direction; a rotating part which rotates the article at the angle of 90 degrees when the Y-shaft transporting part unilaterally transports the article and moves the article to a preset position; and an analyzing part which detects burrs on the contour of the article by receiving and analyzing images of each position photographed by the first camera and the second camera.</p> |
