The present invention relates to a modeling apparatus for a shipbuilding production simulation and a method thereof, comprising: a modeling element specification definition unit which analyzes shipbuilding production information and defines specifications of modeling elements including at least one among a process element, a product requirements element, a resource requirements element, and a flow element; and a diagram creation unit which creates a diagram based on specifications of the defined modeling elements and a diagram architecture defined for each modeling element, and stores the created diagram as a simulation modeling.
