The present invention relates to a rotary compressor. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a rotary compressor includes: a casing wherein a motor generating a driving force is received; a rotary shaft rotating while being joined to the motor; a plurality of cylinders wherein a rotary shaft is inserted installed to be vertically separated; and a middle plate interposed between the plurality of cylinders. The rotary shaft includes: a shaft body extended toward the cylinders from the motor; a first eccentric unit formed on one side of the shaft body, eccentrically rotating; a second eccentric unit formed in correspondence to the first eccentric unit, and eccentrically rotating; and a reinforcing unit arranged between the first and second eccentric units, extended to an outer side of a radial direction from the shaft body. The present invention is characterized such that a distance between the reinforcing unit and the first eccentric unit, and the distance between the reinforcing unit and the second eccentric unit are within a range capable of avoiding the reinforcing unit during a process where the middle plate is assembled to the rotary shaft. |
