<p>The present invention relates to a cutting apparatus for a food material which forms a cut surface in a spiral shape on a food material in a lump shape, minimizes tissue damages to the food material when cutting, and forms a wave pattern on the cut surface. The cutting apparatus for a food material according to the present invention comprises: a frame unit comprising a main frame body which is a skeletal structure; a vertical movement unit comprising a housing which is connected to the main frame body and moves vertically; a motor disposed on the housing; and a cutting cylinder disposed at a lower location of the housing corresponding to a location of the motor and fixed on the main frame body. An extension bar is disposed on a rotational shaft of the motor. The cutting cylinder comprises: a food material shaping unit comprising a main cylinder body formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, a support plate disposed in the main cylinder body and provided with an extension bar penetration hole formed in a middle thereof, a cutter disposed on the support plate in a radial direction and whose one end is disposed in close proximity to the extension bar penetration hole, and a separation protrusion protruding on a circumference of the extension bar penetration hole; and a control unit to control operation of the vertical movement unit and the food material shaping unit.</p> |
