<p>The present invention relates to a water treatment apparatus having a back washing function and a water treatment method using the same, which comprises: a plurality of water tanks (10) for storing contaminated water; filters (100) installed inside the water tanks (10) respectively, having openings formed on sides thereof, and having hollow holes (101) formed therein; purified water discharge pipes (21) connected to the openings of the filters (100); air inflow pipes (210) connected to the water tanks (10) respectively; and a compressing portion (200) for injecting air toward the air inflow pipes (210). In a purification mode, the contaminated water of the water tanks (10) is purified by penetrating through side walls of the filters (100) in an inner side direction and is collected in the hollow holes (101). Then, the contaminated water is discharged through the purified water discharge pipes (21). In a back washing mode, the purified water, purified through the purification mode, as well as air, introduced through the air inflow pipes (210), are introduced to the hollow hole (101) of the water tank (10a) for carrying out a back wash between the water tanks (10) and penetrate through side walls of the filters (100) toward the outside, and then wash the filters (100). The present invention enables to increase space efficiency by minimizing the size of the water treatment apparatus, and has an advantage of being applied to a construction site or a small-sized sewage treatment plant. By enabling to effectively wash a filter, the present invention enables to realize a full automation of the apparatus, and to increase work efficiency due to simple maintenance work.</p> |
