<p>The present invention relates to a cross groove joint, wherein the direction of a ball groove is inclined in the shape of a curve having a radius toward a joint vertical axis with a joint lengthwise axis as the standard and the radii of the ball grooves near each other are made to be in opposite directions, and which can reduce manufacturing cost by making it easy to make the shape of a ball groove in a forging process and can improve the strength of a cage. The cross groove joint of the present invention comprises: an outer race with a number of ball grooves formed on the internal surface; an inner race with a number of ball grooves formed on the external surface; a ball installed in between the ball groove of the outer race and the ball groove of the inner race; and a cage for constraining the ball. The ball groove of the outer race is inclined in the shape of a curve having a radius toward the joint vertical axis with the joint lengthwise axis as the standard, and the radii of the ball grooves near each other are formed to be in opposite directions.</p> |
