PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a shaft which can connect a first shaft and a second shaft without causing wobbling in a simple procedure while reducing a manufacturing cost, and the shaft.SOLUTION: A shaft 40 includes an intermediate shaft 12 and a hollow upper shaft 11. The intermediate shaft 12 has an external peripheral face 12A on which a male spline 33 is formed. The upper shaft 11 has an internal peripheral face 11A on which a female spline 35 engaged with the male spline 33 is formed. A manufacturing method of the shaft 40 includes a first process for attaching a resin sheet 37 to the intermediate shaft 12 so as to cover at least a part of a surface 33A of the male spline 33, and a second process for pressure-inserting the intermediate shaft 12 attached with the resin sheet 37 into the upper shaft 11, and making the male spline 33 and the female spline 35 spline-engaged with each other. |
