PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain highly accurate resist by using an ink jet printer.SOLUTION: In a circuit board manufacturing method of covering a surface of a circuit board material 70 in which a conductor 74 is laminated on a surface of a substrate 72 by a resist 76 in a shape of a wiring pattern and removing the exposed conductor by an etching treatment to make the conductor 74 be the shape of the wiring pattern, a resist pattern which is the shape of the resist 76 to cover the circuit board material 70 is created as image data, and the resist 76 is formed on the surface of the circuit board material 70 in the shape of the resist pattern by discharging ink droplets on the surface of the circuit board material 70 along the image data, and in discharging of the ink, the ink is discharged in a manner such that the number of ink droplets in a line width direction of the resist 76 which extends in a direction orthogonal to parallel grooves on a surface of the conductor 74 is made less than the number of ink droplets in a line width direction of the resist 76 which extends in a direction along the parallel grooves 78.
