PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a reduction in power consumption.SOLUTION: In a blood glucose level measuring unit 10, a blood glucose level predicting section 166 predicts a blood glucose level of a user. A light emitting section 111 irradiates measuring light toward and into a biological body of the user. A light emission controlling section 161, a measurement point candidate setting section 164, a light quantity control method determining section 168 and a measurement point selecting section 169 control a light quantity of the measuring light per a one-time measurement on the basis of the blood glucose level predicted. A light reception controlling section 162, a light absorption spectrum generating section 170 and a blood glucose level calculating section 171 receive reflected light from the user and measure the blood glucose level. |
