PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket which inhibits enlargement of a lighting device and cost increase, and to providing the lighting device using the socket.SOLUTION: A socket includes: a first housing having a first opening part and a first space, the first housing to which the mouthpiece side of a first straight pipe type illumination lamp is attached; a second housing having a second opening part and a second space, the second housing to which the mouthpiece side of a second straight pipe type illumination lamp is attached; multiple pin contact pieces which are provided at the first space of the first housing and the second space of the second housing and electrically connected with a lamp pin; and a lid which is provided so as to be detachably attached to the first opening part of the first housing and the second opening part of the second housing and divides the first space from the second space. |
