PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive device which can perform prompt discharge operation from a smoothing capacitor when halting a motor, if power supply from at least one of two power supplies is stopped.SOLUTION: The motor drive device includes a power supply circuit 105, and transformers 106, 107 as an operation voltage generator unit which generates the operation voltage of a drive circuit 102 and a control unit 101 to supply power to the drive circuit 102 and the control unit 101. The operation voltage generator unit can generate the operation voltage of the drive circuit 102 and the control unit 101 by power supplied from either of a DC power supply 20 and a DC power supply 21. |
