<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toaster that is safe even when an elevation lever cannot be returned from a lowering position due to a mechanical reason.SOLUTION: A toaster includes: a heater 13 as a heating part arranged inside a main body; a bread reception part arranged inside the main body to be elevatable; an elevation lever for operating the elevation/lowering of the bread reception part; a lock pawl part, a movable lock body, and an electromagnet 20 as holding means to hold the elevation lever at a lowering position; and a control unit 4. The control unit 4 includes: a timer 26 as clocking means; and a relay 25 for blocking electrification to the heater 13 after the termination of clocking of the timer 26. After the electrification to the heater 13 is blocked, electrification to the electromagnet 20 is blocked and the holding state of the elevation lever is released. Thus, the electrification to the heater 13 is blocked when a set time elapses, to thereby improve safety in the toaster 1.</p> |
