Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for interacting between devices without configuration, which solve a scalability problem, and do not need a home gateway, and to a distributed home network system using the same. According to the present invention, the apparatus comprises: an operation mode input unit for receiving a selection signal of the operation mode: a human life standard message generation unit for generating a human life standard message corresponding to the selection signal of the operation mode; a message transmission unit for broadcasting the human life standard message to all of the other devices in home; a message reception unit for receiving the human life standard message transmitted from the other devices in home; a setting information storing unit for storing information of a predetermined human life mode; and an operation performance unit for performing an operation corresponding to the information of the setting information storing unit based on the human life mode in the human life standard message received by the message reception unit.
