<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring system and monitoring method capable of efficiently reproducing, in time series, state information indicating the state of a monitoring target in an arbitrary past period.SOLUTION: A monitoring system 1 of an embodiment includes an acquisition unit 460, an extraction unit 450, and a reproduction unit 470. The acquisition unit obtains process information in which state information indicating the state of a monitoring target and time information indicating a time when the state is set are associated with each other. THe extraction unit extracts time information indicating a time when a predetermined event has occurred in the state of the monitoring target from the process information. When the reproduction unit reproduces the process information associated with unextracted time information in reproducing the state information in time series, it reproduces it at a higher speed in comparison with the case where it reproduces the state information associated with the extracted time information.</p> |
