<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a sufficient steering angle when a steering wheel and a steering actuator are mechanically connected by a back-up clutch.SOLUTION: A reaction force actuator 2 adding steering reaction force to a steering wheel 1, has a steering side coupling shaft 6 for coupling the steering wheel 1 and a back-up clutch 3 so as to transmit rotations at the same speed between both, and a reaction force motor 7 for inputting the steering reaction force to the steering side coupling shaft 6. A steering actuator 4 moving a pair of right and left steering wheels 5 according to a steering angle of the steering wheel 1, has a turning side coupling shaft 25 connected to the back-up clutch 3, a rotation transmission path 37 for transmitting rotations inputted from the turning side coupling shaft 25 to a nut 21, and a speed increasing gear 80 for increasing the speed of the rotations inputted from the turning side coupling shaft 25 to the rotation transmission path 37 to transmit.</p> |
