<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt conveyance device configured to prevent lubricant from moving to the outside a guide groove, and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A belt conveyance device includes: a rotatable belt 46; a plurality of support rolls rotatably supporting the belt 46; a rib member 70 arranged along at least one side end of an inner peripheral surface of the belt 46; and a guide member 72 which is arranged in at least one of the support rolls and has a guide groove 73 for guiding a belt 46 in contact with the rib member 70. The guide groove 73 includes: an inclined plane 74 (rib contact surface) having lubricant applied thereto and brought into contact with the rib member 70, and a bottom surface 75 (rib non-contact surface) not in contact with the rib member 70. An absolute value of a difference between a solubility parameter of a member which forms the inclined plane 74 (rib contact surface) and a solubility parameter of the lubricant is 2.3(cal/cm)or more. An absolute value of a difference between a solubility parameter of a member which forms a bottom surface 75 (rib non-contact surface) and a solubility parameter of the lubricant is 1.5(cal/cm)or less.</p> |
