<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet a driver's expectation that engine speed shows a sharp change even in the vicinity of a target engine speed after gear change with an automatic transmission.SOLUTION: A vehicle engine speed display device comprises: an engine, an automatic transmission arranged on a force transmission path between the engine and a wheel, an engine speed detection part for detecting an engine speed, an engine speed display part for displaying the engine speed, and a control device for performing control to reduce a responsiveness of displaying an actual engine speed detected at the engine speed detection part or a virtual engine speed not dependent on the actual engine speed to the engine speed display part. The control device restrains a reduction in a display change speed on the engine speed display part while the engine speed display part starts to indicate a change in the rotation change direction due to gear change and then reaches a target engine speed after the gear change with the automatic transmission.</p> |
