The present invention relates to a substrate for converting a color of an LED and a manufacturing method thereof and, more particularly, to a substrate for converting a color of an LED and a manufacturing method thereof, capable of perfectly protecting a quantum dot (QD) immersed inside from the outside by performing hermetic sealing. For this, the present invention provides the substrate for converting the color of the LED which includes a first substrate and a second substrate which are arranged on the LED to face each other, a sheet which is arranged between the first and second substrates and includes a hole, the QD which is filled in the hole, and a sealing material which is formed between the first substrate and the lower side of the sheet and between the second substrate and the upper side of the sheet and is formed along the frame of the hole. The sheet is made of materials to perform laser sealing between the first and second substrates and the sealing material.
