The present invention provides a method and a device for processing an organ package from slaughtered poultry using two cooperative rollers. A nip is provided between the rollers to allow a preselected organ in the organ package to pass through. The rollers rotate in opposite directions to transfer the organ package and to allow the preselected organs to smoothly pass through the nip. A roller has a cross-sectional diameter, wherein the diameter value is determined by the position of the cross section between an inlet portion and an outlet portion to be varied as seen in the longitudinal direction of the roller and to provide a curved surface for each roller.
