PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of surely peeling a label from a plastic container in any state, and being reduced in size by a relatively simple structure.SOLUTION: The device includes: a casing 10 having an input port 22 for inputting a plastic container 20 in a vertically laid manner, a waste container discharge port 26 and a label piece discharge port 28, and a spiked conveyor mechanism 12 and a label cutting mechanism 14 disposed in the casing. The conveyor mechanism includes a number of bar-like plates 56 having a plurality of piercing bodies 58 planted therein, and attached over the whole circumference of a chain conveyor 30. The label cutting mechanism includes a plurality of cutting units 62 configured to press the plastic container to the bar-like plates of the chain conveyor by a plurality of rotating label cutting blades 66 to stick the piercing bodies into the container and cut the label of the container, and juxtaposed at intervals along a moving direction of the chain conveyor so as to be orthogonal to the moving direction of the chain conveyor and parallel to each other. |
