<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoacoustic engine capable of preventing a change in the flow passage cross-sectional area from becoming large in a connecting part between a heater or a cooler and a resonance part of the thermoacoustic engine, to reduce a quantity of sound wave reflected by the connecting part, and to restrain reduction in output of the thermoacoustic engine by reflection of the sound wave. <P>SOLUTION: This thermoacoustic engine 10 includes the heater 13, the cooler 14, a regenerator 12, the resonance part 11 and a working fluid G. The cross-sectional area inside of the regenerator 12 is formed larger than the cross-sectional area inside of the resonance part 11, a wall surface 13a for arranging an inner peripheral fin 13c of the heater 13 is formed in a tapered shape, and is arranged between the resonance part 11 and the regenerator 12, and a wall surface 14a for arranging an inner peripheral fin 14c of the cooler 14 is formed in a tapered shape, and is arranged between the regenerator 12 and the resonance part 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
