The transmission (7) has a main shaft arranged in a transmission housing. A crank pin (8) is eccentrically guided at the main shaft on an output side. The crank pin is driven by a circular gear drive. The crank pin is directly connected with an oscillatingly moved mowing blade. The main shaft is connected with a flywheel mass (29) at an end, which faces away from the crank pin. A hinge shaft (16) includes a displacement, which is required for adjusting a cutting table in end positions. An output shaft is connected with the flywheel mass via a torsion elastic element. The torsion elastic element is a spring damper element.
