A device, suitable for the support of the head of a person lying face downward, comprises a base portion 4 for placing on the ground (42, figure 3), a support member 6 extending upwardly from the base portion 4 and a face rest 8 fixed to the support member 6 such that it is elevated above the base portion 4. The support member 6 is of adjustable length so as to allow adjustment of the height of the face rest 8 above the base portion 4. The face rest 8 may be detachable from the support member 6 and the support member 6 may be detachable from the base portion 4. The base portion 4 may include a storage space in which the support member 6 and the face rest 8 may be stored. |
