<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation material with which a cured product after curing can be made a white color or a color close to a white color. <P>SOLUTION: An insulation material according to the present invention is used for bonding a heat conductor 2 having a thermal conductivity of 10 W/m K or higher to a conductor layer 4. The insulation material according to the present invention contains a curable compound having an epoxy group or an oxetanyl group, a curing agent having a nitrogen atom, and a white filler. The white filler includes, as a first filler, alumina having a thermal conductivity of 10 W/m K or higher and a purity of 99.8% or higher, or crystalline silica having a thermal conductivity of 10 W/m K or higher and a purity of 99.8% or higher. A content of the white filler in 100 vol.% of the insulation material is 30 vol.% or higher and 80 vol.% or lower.
