<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aseismic structure capable of being installed in a narrow space while having an attenuation section to add attenuation as well as a brace section which plasticizes when receiving a load. <P>SOLUTION: An aseismic structure 10 comprises: an attenuation section 70 (an oil damper 71) which is installed inside a plane of structure 5 of a frame composed of columns 2 and beams 3 and adds attenuation to the frame; and a brace section 80 which has a first brace 81 and a second brace 82. In the brace section 80, when tensile axial force is generated in one of the first brace 81 or the second brace 82, a compressive axial force is generated in the other of the first brace 81 or the second brace 82. Also, when the tensile axial force exceeds a yield load, either of the braces 81 or 82 plasticizes.
